Monkton 2 Sports Plus - Young People (WAITING LIST)

Sports Plus is a week of specialist sports coaching and team competitions for young people who are serious about sport and play regularly in a club or team. Sports Plus is the perfect way for young people to improve in their sport, while exploring more about the Christian faith and what it means to be a Christian sports player.

Sports Plus is for young people in the following school years in January 2026:

• Year 7 to Year 12 (England & Wales)
• Year 8 to Year 13 (Northern Ireland)
• P7 to S5 (Scotland)

If a young person falls within these school years in the country where they attend school, then they can attend any of the camps. For example - someone who attends school in England and is in year 7 can attend Sports Plus in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland or Wales.

If a young person is in Year 12 (E&W), Year 13 (NI) or S5 (Scot) in January 2026 but turns 18 in the summer, prior to the start of Sports Plus, they can attend as young people. 

Sports Plus costs £410 for each young person; with a reduced rate of £235 also available. The reduced rate is subsidised by the Sports Plus Bursary Fund and is accessible for families to which the full cost is not affordable. Payment can also be made in installments over the course of 5 months at either £82, for the full rate, or £47, for the reduced rate, per month.

How to make payment
You will be asked to select which rate you plan to pay when completing the booking form but no payment is required at the time of booking. Payment will be requested on confirmation of the young person's place.

When the place in confirmed we will ask for either a deposit of £75 or the first monthly installment (£82 or £47). The full payment is due by Friday 24th April or if paying in installments then four further monthly payments.

The booking form will ask for the young person's general details, sporting involvement and health information. To complete the booking form and process your order please follow the steps below or click here to download a more detailed explanation to assist with the booking process.

Step 1: Select the event
Select the Sports Plus you wish to book onto and this will then take you through to that event.

Step 2: Select price
Once in the event, you will need to select a price option. This is the amount you intend to pay if your booking is successful. You must select a price option before you can proceed.

Step 3: Log In/Register
Once you have selected a price option please scroll down and log in (or register if you have not created an account) to begin the booking form. If you are already logged in proceed to Step 4.

Step 4: Book first participant
Once logged in, please select the first participant you wish to complete the booking form for, by clicking the young person’s name. Complete the remainder of the booking form for that participant and once all fields are completed click ‘Add to Basket’.

Step 5: Book further participants
On completion of the first booking form, a pop up box will appear. To book another participant click ‘Register another participant’ and repeat steps 2, 4 and 5 until you have completed the booking form for all the young people you wish to book. If you are only booking one young person then proceed to Step 6.

Step 6: Checkout & Review Order
Once you have completed the booking form for all young people click ‘Checkout’. It is important that you check the ‘Contact Information’ is correct as all information will be sent via email to this address. Please also ensure that all the bookings you have made appear in the ‘Review Your Order’ section as these are the individual bookings we will receive.

Please note that payment is not due at this stage as all young people’s bookings are reviewed and then upon confirmation of a place you will receive further instruction on how to make payment.

Step 7: Process Order
To complete your booking, you MUST click ‘Process Order’. You will then receive confirmation that your order has been submitted and also receive an email confirmation of receipt. Please note there will be one email per order but this will include details of each individual participant.

Step 8: Confirmation of place
All bookings for Sports Plus will be reviewed by the Sports Plus Team and you will receive confirmation of your place via email within two weeks of making your booking. If the booking has been successful you will be sent details of the next steps.
